The terms stated below are The Event Designers basic payment conditions. A more detailed and outlined policy will be discussed with you upon your application, which will need signing on  agreement and before securing your booking. 


Quotations- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and our services & equipment are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Booking Fee - A minimum £100 booking or 25% of the total cost (whichever is greater) will be invoiced on agreement to our proposal. For orders under £100 full payment will be due. This fee is required to secure your date and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or amendment to the date.

Exclusive Offers- Bookings where there are exclusive offers in place may require full payment to secure the discount applied and are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. You will be notified of such items upon booking.

Instalment– An instalment payment of 50% of the remaining balance will be due 8 weeks prior to the event.

Balance- The final balance will be due 4 weeks prior to the event.

Instalment Plan- You can choose to opt for a monthly payment plan with the balance due 4 weeks prior to your event.

Cancellations - Cancellations made more than 8 weeks prior to the event, will result in loss of the booking fee. Cancellations made 4 – 8 weeks prior to the event will result in loss of the booking fee and 50% of the remaining balance. Cancellations made 4 weeks or less prior to the event will result in full payment. This is to cover loss of earnings, from other potential bookings and work hours already spent on your event. We do understand that there are sometimes unforeseen circumstances, therefor we will try our best to work with you should any problems arise, so please never hesitate to get in-touch. 

Our Promise - In the very unlikely event that the booking is cancelled by The Event Designer any payment received will be fully refunded

Damage & Loss Retainer - A deposit will be required 4 weeks prior to the event to cover all hired items. In the event of any loss or damage, the replacement value of the items will be deducted from the deposit. If the deposit does not cover the replacement value, an outstanding balance will be due and invoiced to you

Cost Recovery - It is the responsibility of the named person on the booking to recover any loss or damage costs from any third party involved.

"The Event Designer” is not responsible or liable for any injury, damage to persons or property caused by use or misuse of items.

Travel Expenses - Travel expenses where applicable will be charged at 45per mile to cover one delivery drop and one collection.
